Letti - My girlfriend and I made them. They are womens knee highs. There are a ton of tutorials out there. I don't know which one we used, but ours doesn't have elastic on the upper leg(some of them do).
Great post. I love how simple it is. I need to do more of those, and stop cleaning my house.
